What is the height of an Altis pergola ?

Standard finished clearance under the beams is around 8 ft
(2.4 m), with the top of the pergola sitting at roughly 9 ft (2.7 m).

What is the pergola made of? Will it rust ?

Altis pergolas are 100% aluminium — the frame, posts, beams, and louvers are all made from aerospace/military-grade 6063-T6 aluminium, finished with a professional outdoor powder coat. Unlike mild-steel (MS) pergolas, aluminium doesn't rust, so there's no corrosion to worry about even in humid or coastal conditions. The powder-coat finish also resists fading and warping, and the whole structure is maintenance-free — no repainting or rust treatment needed over its 25–30+ year lifespan, backed by a 10-year warranty on the frame and coating.

What precautions does your team take beforedrilling ?

Before any drill goes into the slab, our team: (1) confirms with you the exact post locations, (2) checks for hidden electrical / plumbing lines using a wall scanner, (3) uses a controlled-depth drill so we never go deeper than needed, and (4) seals every drill point with PU sealant after anchoring. We document each step you can ask the team lead for the install checklist

What happens to rainwater on my terrace ?

The pergola has a hidden gutter system inside the beams. When the louvers close, rainwater runs along the louver surface into the gutter, which is sloped towards the columns. The water then drains down inside the columns and exits at the base you can connect it to your existing terrace drain or let it run off naturally. No water hits your guests, your terrace floor, or the surrounding walls.

Can it handle heavy monsoon rain and strong winds ?

Yes. Wind rating is 160 km/h well above standard Indian monsoon wind speeds). Snow load is rated to 50 PSF relevant for hill-station installs. Louvers stay locked in position even in strong gusts; they do not flap or rattle

Do you offer an extended warranty / AMC ?

Yes, we offer an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for customers who want preventive servicing, motor cleaning, louver lubrication and a yearly waterproofing check. The AMC also extends the motor warranty by an extra year per renewal. Details available on request.

How long from order to install?

Typically 3–4 weeks. The pergola is manufactured to your dimensions in-house, then dispatched and installed. We share a clear timeline with you at the time of order.

Can I add zip blinds, mist or heater later?

Yes. The frame is designed to take all our accessories retractable zip blinds, pergola mist system, electric heater even if you
decide to add them six months or a year after install.
